It's hard to keep hope.

In the midst of doubt, one has difficulty keeping that hope of the unreachable alive. It's difficult but not impossible. We have faith that someone out there will stumble upon this website and something inside them will tell them that there isn't anything to be ashamed of. Let go and let the Spirit move your heart. When you think all is lost, that is when you gain the world. Once you have nothing left to lose, once you're broken, then Christ can put you back together.

We are such proud creatures, we think all things are possible with our own strength. "If I, try real hard...", "I just have to finish..", or "Just let me". We might succeed in business, wealth, popularity, but these things are temporary. This earth, this life will all pass away. One might be a the greatest singer here on earth, but if the aim is to win the world, we're winning an empty lot. If you're counted greatest in this life, you'll be called least in the next. But if you humble your heart, and do the will of Our Father in heaven, you'll be counted greatest.

Whatever we gain in our own power will eventually fade away. We can go from riches to poverty in a matter of days if not hours. We can go from health to sickness just as fast. Life to death even faster. What is it that we can trust in, if we cannot count on money, health, or even life?

Can we count on each other? Do our neighbors always help in times of need? Does our family?

The only one that we can count on is Our Lord God in heaven that sent His Son to die, all because He loved us so. Only in Him is can we have absolute unwavering faith and not be disappointed.

As it is written:
"For Your sake we are killed all day long
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:36-38.
