Time Travel

There is little doubt that everyone at some point in their lives hasn't thought about it. A mistake, a bad decision, an accident that could easily have been avoided. "If only", we think. If only they hadn't insulted me like that, if only I'd known their situation a little better. Maybe I wouldn't have reacted like this. If I'd known the coffee was going to spill on my lap... There is little one can do with regards to the past, other than learn from it, and not repeat it.

There are moments in our lives that as we're living them, seem unimportant, but in retrospect are crucial in bringing about our current state of mind. Our current way of thinking. Once we realize that we are only children in the all-powerful and all-knowing care of the one
true God, our worries seem to dissipate. We are, if we pray for his guidance, under the watchful care of an omnipotent being that sees our past, present and future, with perfect clarity. There can be no mistakes when under His care. All that happens according to His will, is in our best interest even if we cannot see it as such. Some might say "But there are over six billion people in the world, surely God cannot hold all of their hands at once". Well it can not be negated that God loves and cares for each and everyone of us as if we were the only person on this planet. He gives 100% of us 100% of his attention, 100% of the time. If there were only one person on the earth that needed saving, Jesus would have come and died for that one person's sake. It's humbling to think that Jesus, being at the right hand of the Father, came to earth and took our humanity, suffered by our hands, and a died for us. Even though we did not love Him. His love is something that no created being can understand. That while we were still sinners, He died for us.
